Job Description

As we continue expanding from a commercial business into industrial manufacturing, we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our growing finance team. We are looking for a detail-oriented General Accountant to support the daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate has solid accounting fundamentals, hands-on ERP experience (preferably Odoo), and can independently manage daily accounting transactions.

Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately.

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Perform bank reconciliations.

• Follow up on customer collections and supplier payments.

• Assist in treasury and cash management activities.

• Prepare journal entries and month-end closing entries.

• Reconcile customer, supplier, and general ledger accounts.

• Prepare VAT and tax-related documentation.

• Maintain fixed asset and inventory accounting records.

• Support internal and external audits.

• Generate accounting reports as requested by management.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.

• 5–7 years of accounting experience.

• Practical experience in:

  • Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Treasury

  • Bank Reconciliation

  • General Ledger

  • Month-End Closing

• Experience using ERP systems; Odoo is highly preferred.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Good understanding of Egyptian tax regulations and VAT.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Very good English is a must
