The Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Accountant at PIF Headquarter in Ramallah.

Duties and Resposibilities:

• Assist the Finance Team in updating ERP system/accounting software, accounting ledgers and records with financial inputs/data as required
• Assist in carrying out the month-end/year-end closing as instructed
• Assist in preparing/generating financial reports and statements as required
• Coordinate with 3rd party service providers, contractors, vendors, related subsidiaries etc. for payments and related inquiries and work with team members to resolve any issues/concerns in an efficient manner
• Assist in preparing bank deposits and cash/cheque slips and maintain up to date and accurate records of banking transactions
• Receive, verify and process petty cash requests and banking transactions in an accurate and timely manner
• Coordinate with banks to follow up on the status of transfers and bank accounts, and provide banks with the necessary legal documentation
• Assist in obtaining necessary signatures for related financial transactions
• Provide inputs to fulfil reporting requirements as required
• Maintain accounting records in an organized manner for ease of reference and retrieval
• Facilitate internal & external financial audits as required

متطلبات الوظيفة

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh Graduate up to 2 Years of Experience
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of Arabic and English.
