About the job Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading company in the healthcare distribution sector, is seeking a Senior Accountant to run day-to-day accounting operations and support the monthly and annual closing, working closely with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries and accruals
• Prepare the monthly closing and support the preparation of financial statements
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, and follow up on supplier and customer balances
• Prepare bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
• Support inventory and cost accounting, including stock reconciliation with the warehouse
• Prepare VAT and other statutory filings in line with Lebanese regulations
• Prepare reports and support budgeting and variance analysis
• Support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and documents
• Record transactions and generate reports in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with Navision (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Strong Excel skills
• Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
