Summary

Supports cost accounting for assigned MAG businesses, calculating and analyzing costs for vehicles, parts, workshop labour and body & paint, and providing cost and margin insights.

Tasks

• Maintain cost accounting for vehicles, parts, workshops and body & paint, including landed cost and job costing.
• Calculate and analyze costs of vehicles, parts, labour and consumables, and explain variances.
• Support financial control of inventory valuation and cost centers.
• Provide insights on costs, margins and profitability by brand, branch and department.
• Apply costing policies and guidelines.
• Monitor inventory costs, provisions and obsolete stock.
• Collect and analyze costing data from SAP.
• Develop own costing expertise.
• Prepare cost and margin reports.
• Work with Supply Chain, Parts and Aftersales on cost data.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting)
• Previous internship or exposure to Accounts Payable or general accounting is an advantage.

Experience

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience.

Skill

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Data collection, validation, and record keeping.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
