We're hiring | Senior accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical senior accountant to join our team in New Cairo.

The ideal candidate will have solid accounting and financial knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage daily accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting. Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and proper documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
• Maintain and review general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
• Support monthly and annual closing activities and ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor financial transactions and maintain organized accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and internal procedures.
• Analyze financial data and assist in identifying discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure accurate financial information and smooth accounting operations.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Previous experience in the perfumes and cosmetics industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare financial statements and support monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Good analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively within a team.
