Job Description:

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead daily accounting operations across multiple BPO and payroll service accounts. The role will supervise a team of four junior accountants and ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and timely financial closing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of four junior accountants.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Review payroll accounting entries and client reconciliations.
  • Manage accounting transactions and reporting through Odoo ERP.
  • Lead month-end closing and bank and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including team supervision.
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, AP, and AR.
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Egyptian tax and accounting regulations.
  • Payroll accounting or outsourcing experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
