About FIS 

FIS is a Palestinian technology company established in 1999, providing cybersecurity, enterprise software, and SaaS solutions to private- and public-sector organizations in Palestine and regional markets. 

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and analytically minded Accountant & Financial Systems Specialist to join our team. 

The Role 

The successful candidate will be responsible for FIS's internal accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to established accounting procedures and internal controls. 

The position also offers an opportunity to grow beyond traditional accounting by developing functional expertise in RHODES Accounting, FIS's enterprise accounting platform, through structured training and gradual involvement in software-related activities. 

Key Responsibilities 

Accounting & Financial Operations 

• Maintain accurate accounting records, process financial transactions, and prepare journal entries and invoices. 

• Monitor receivables, payables, and payment collections. 

• Perform bank reconciliations and support periodic financial closing and reporting. 

• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and applicable financial requirements. 

• Coordinate with management and internal auditors on financial matters. 

Financial Systems & Professional Development 

Through structured training and progressive involvement, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to: 

• Participate in functional testing and validation of RHODES Accounting. 

• Support product documentation and user training. 

• Assist in software implementation and product demonstrations. 

• Collaborate with technical teams to identify functional requirements and product improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and professional integrity. 

• Strong command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. 

• Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine interest in technology and continuous learning. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Familiarity with accounting or ERP software. 

• Interest in financial systems, business analysis, or software implementation.

Location & Availability 

The position requires regular on-site attendance at FIS headquarters in Ramallah. Due to current commuting challenges, preference will be given to candidates residing in Ramallah & Al-Bireh Governorate
