Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our client team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in accounting principles, good analytical skills, and the ability to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure accurate financial records and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Assist with daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and management accounts.
  • Assist with VAT calculations, tax documentation, and other tax-related activities.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate and maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and assist the Account and Tax Senior Manager with additional accounting tasks as required.
  
  

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and tax regulations is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally in accounting and taxation.
