Job Description:

An international construction group with active projects in Jordan is looking for a Management Accountant to provide reliable financial reports forecasts and analysis and to prepare Group consolidation and statutory financial statements.

• Prepare monthly management reporting packs by company business activity and Group with variance analysis against budget and prior periods
  
• Coordinate annual budgets and periodic forecasts and maintain approved forecast versions
  
• Prepare project profitability reviews covering cost to complete margin movements and expected final profit
  
• Prepare and update cash flow forecasts and analyze receivables retention payables and working capital
  
• Prepare Group consolidation including intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments
  
• Prepare annual statutory and consolidated financial statements with notes and supporting schedules
  
• Coordinate external audit schedules and incorporate approved audit adjustments
  
• Support tax reporting with reconciled financial information
  
• Standardize reporting definitions and recommend improvements to reporting and controls
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
  
• Professional certification such as CPA ACCA CMA or CA
  
• 5 years of experience in management accounting and financial reporting preferably in construction or contracting
  
• Proven experience in Group consolidation and preparing financial statements under IFRS
  
• Strong experience in budgeting forecasting and project profitability analysis
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP skills; Power BI is an advantage
  
• Strong analytical and presentation skills for communicating results to management
