We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated General Accountant to join our finance team at Al Habib Bedding, a growing retail company in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

  • Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end closing.
  • Review branch sales, cash collections, and financial reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and assist with stock reconciliations.
  • Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations.
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Experience with Odoo ERP is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Saudi VAT regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Previous experience in the retail sector is preferred.
