Summary

Buhler Group Casablanca, Morocco is looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our team as Senior Accountant. This position will be responsible for recording & preparing accounting transactions/reports from day-to-day business operations and managing accounting in order to control & manage company financial aspects following company policies/procedures & legal regulations.

Job Responsibilities

Record and process daily accounting transactions in compliance with local accounting standards and internal company policies.

Manage month-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly trial balances and tax declarations (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).

Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including collections, vendor payments, aging analysis, and cash flow optimization.

Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations, reconcile statutory accounts with group reporting requirements, and support internal and external audits.

Collaborate closely with local and group finance teams while driving continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and ensure the integrity of financial data.

Qualifications

• College degree or above majored in accounting/auditing or related area.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting.
• Computer literacy and software knowledge (Sage, SAP, etc.)
• Fluent communication in English & French.
