Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate recording of supplier invoices, timely payments, and follow-up on outstanding customer balances.
Review, audit, and reconcile supplier and customer accounts, outstanding balances, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claims, payments, invoices, and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company procedures.
Review and verify journal entries, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents before approval and posting.
Perform periodic reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
Review general ledger accounts, verify account balances and classifications, and investigate discrepancies, irregularities, unusual transactions, and potential financial risks.
Prepare and review financial reports, account statements, reconciliation reports, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Review accounts payable and receivable aging reports, follow up on overdue balances, and resolve outstanding items.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all accounts are reviewed and reconciled before closing.
Monitor compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, internal financial controls, and company policies, ensuring transactions are properly authorized.
Organize and maintain accounting records and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
Assist external auditors by providing requested financial records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Identify accounting errors and recommend corrective actions and improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and financial reporting reliability.
