Employment: Full Time
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, conducting audits, and supporting the management team in financial decision-making. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting standards.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns, ensuring timely submission and compliance with tax laws.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the creation of annual budgets and forecasts; analyze financial performance and provide insights into cost management and revenue growth.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and reports to support decision-making by management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring proper filing and documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Excel).
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
