Job description

We are 400,000 professionals based worldwide across 150 countries. Audit services involve reporting on the fairness in all material respects with which a client s audited financial statements are presented, in conformity with the applicable financial reporting framework.

The opportunity

EY is looking for Senior Auditors to join our Jordan Hub office and help our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters. This practice supports audit engagements across the MENA region both remotely and through travel to MENA offices.

Your key responsibilities

As a member of the Audit team, you'll make a technical contribution to audit engagements and internal projects. You'll actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll escalate issues as appropriate. You'll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Strong academic record, including a degree or professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA).
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Big4.
• Track record with a leading international audit firm.
• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
