  Role Description

  This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant at Wellness Way Gym located in Amman, Jordan. The Accountant will be responsible for managing payroll, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and producing financial statements. The candidate will work closely with the management team and other personnel to ensure financial transactions are accurate and compliant with regulations.

  Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Budget management skills and experience with forecasting
• Degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with the fitness industry is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service or receptionist role
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of basic computer programs and office equipment
