Responsibilities
- Setting the department's long and short-term objectives regarding its functions and communicating them to all subordinates.
- Supervising the activities and employees of the department in conformance with the approved systems, policies and procedures and delegated authorities
- Setting the SMART departmental goals and ensuring the achievement of the set goals in a timely manner by taking all corrective and preventive actions that are needed.
- Developing the department work plans, objectives and supervising the department activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, objectives, regulations and timely completion.
- Coordinating between the different employees in the department to ensure full collaboration in the department s operations.
- Selecting, training, motivating and evaluating department personnel.
- Providing or coordinating staff training and work with employees to correct deficiencies.
- Directing the process of reviewing data about material assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
- Directing the process of examining and analyzing accounting records to determine financial status of company.
- Directing the process of reviewing the reports of auditors regarding the process of counts cash on hand, inspects notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and cancelled checks.
- Following up and reviewing the recommendations regarding improving operations and the financial position of the company.
- Arranging meetings with clients and helping them in all the audit matters.
- Reviewing and supervising the process of preparing detailed reports on audit findings.
- Receiving daily reports from his subordinates that reflect and explain the progress of their work and the obstacles that face them while carrying out their work.
- Directing the process of training new audit staff, particularly with on-the-job training.
- Reviewing reports sent by his subordinates.
- Conducting monthly meetings with the department s employees to discuss the workflow.
