We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the firm’s financial operations, contribute to financial strategy, and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the general ledger by ensuring accuracy in entries, posting transactions, and reconciling accounts.
• Manage client trust accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, preparing required reports, and overseeing client fund disbursements.
• Assist with the preparation and review of client billing, ensuring that invoices reflect accurate time entries, expenses, and fees according to firm guidelines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Assist with tax filings, including corporate tax returns, and maintain accurate records for tax purposes.
• Support the development of budgets and financial forecasts, helping to analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and ensure that all accounts are balanced.
• Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely preparation of documentation and responding to audit queries.
