• Operational management of the entire bookkeeping of the company which was founded in 2023
• Responsible for the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements in accordance with Moroccan GAAP (and ideally IFRS), management of intercompany accounting and optimization of financial reporting.
• Banking and liquidity management, incl. financial, active accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Central point of contact for stakeholders in accounting matters, in particular for the tax authorities and auditors
• Ensuring the timely preparation and submission of VAT returns and tax declarations with assistance of an external tax consultancy
• Creating financial processes in alignment with the Headquarter in Germany to increase quality and efficiency by establishing scalable best-in-class processes.
• Supporting and driving forward optimization and digitalization projects (SAP FI implementation) in alignment with the headquarter in Germany
• Leadership, coaching and development of future team members

What you bring along:

• A fluent english is mandatory

Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable or corresponding professional experience in accounting or tax department (preferably from service industry)At least 8 years of professional experience in accounting/taxVery good knowledge of Moroccan GAAP (and ideally IFRS) and basic knowledge of Moroccan tax law (VAT, corporation tax (with assistance of an external tax consultancy))Sense of responsibility, solution-oriented approach, structured, independent and conscientious way of working with a high degree of precision.Strong cooperation and communication skills in English (German is a plus)Experience with SAP FI (/CO) is highly recommended and much appreciatedWith more than 50 facilities in Europe, the Bertrandt Group has been providing development solutions for the international automotive and aircraft industry since 1974.
