Role Overview
The Account Manager is a strategic business development leader responsible for managing and growing a key client account in Saudi Arabia. This role requires deep expertise in the Saudi market, strong client relationship management skills, and the ability to drive business growth through consultative sales strategies. The ideal candidate will leverage their industry knowledge and leadership skills to act as a trusted advisor to the client, ensuring business success and long-term partnership.
Your impact
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Key Account Plan based on a thorough understanding of the client s challenges and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive account growth and revenue expansion.
- Leverage deep industry knowledge to uncover client needs, communicate value propositions effectively, and present tailored solutions.
- Manage opportunity and proposal processes, including client discussions, follow-ups, and negotiations to ensure successful deal closures.
- Act as the client s primary point of contact, coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support.
- Drive client satisfaction by proactively monitoring and improving Net Promoter Scores (NPS) at various stakeholder levels.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client s IT infrastructure, security requirements, and regulatory compliance needs.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to align business strategies with client goals and maximize value.
- Ensure CRM data accuracy for effective account management and strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate timely invoicing and payment processing through strong client relationships.
- Handle crisis resolution, including strategizing, communication, and issue escalation management.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess account performance, identify growth opportunities, and align strategic initiatives with client objectives.
Preferred Competencies & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in account management and business development, particularly within the MENA region.
- Proven track record of growing enterprise accounts, including government clients.
- Strong knowledge of IT consulting, software development, and emerging technology trends.
- Experience in working with multicultural and geographically dispersed teams.
- Ability to develop go-to-market strategies and drive market penetration efforts.
- Strong C-level network and ability to influence executive decision-making.
- Experience managing legal processes, including contract negotiations and renewals.
Required Skills
- Experience working with European clients as well.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
Other Requirements
- Lived and worked in Saudi Arabia.
- Deep understanding of the Saudi business environment, regulations, and market trends.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
