Assistant Accountant Duties and Responsibilities:
Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
Assist with month-end/year-end closing and financial statement preparation.
Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Handle accounts payable and coordinate with suppliers.
Assist with PRO tasks, including legal and government-related duties.
Support management with financial data and decision-making.
Process employee salaries.
Work effectively under pressure.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
