Summary:
Agricultural accountant is specialist within the accounting field who focuses on agribusiness, providing expertise in financial management unique to the farming industry. He wears many hats, from tax experts to financial consultants, all tailored to the nuanced world of agriculture.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Inventory Management in Agriculture.
• Understanding Agricultural Processes.
• Reviewing the accuracy of data entry in the accounting program.
• Preparing labor and mechanization extracts.
• Preparing attendance and leave records.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

Job is outside Cairo1-3 years of experience (Preferrable in Agricultural companies)BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field.Intermediate English language (written & spoken).Strong familiarity with Agricultural business terms.Specialized in Accounting Software.Knowledge of Local and Global Agricultural Markets.Excellent organizing abilitiesGreat attention to detail.Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practicesExcellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
