Job Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cost management. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure tax compliance (VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax regulations).
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
• Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement financial best practices and accounting policies.
• Work with ERP systems and accounting software for reporting accuracy.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA is a plus).5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in IT or service-based industries.Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial reporting.Experience with ERP accounting systems and financial tools.Attention to detail and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
