Job Purpose
The Financial Operations Accountant supports the finance operations team by managing essential accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company policies. This role focuses on executing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting audits, processing financial transactions, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Job Description
General Ledger Management

Perform general ledger accounting duties, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close activities.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and provide necessary support.

Help address audit findings under the guidance of the Financial Accounting Lead.

Support the year-end closing process in collaboration with the finance team.

Contribute ideas for process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Compliance and Reporting

Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations, laws, and internal company policies.

Assist in preparing regular financial reports for management review.

Contribute to the implementation of internal control measures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

Vendor and External Coordination

Collaborate with VAT and tax consultants to ensure timely submission of required reports.

Support communication with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.

Work with the MIS team and Financial Accounting Lead to support ERP process automation improvements.

Compliance

Comply with the company s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 requirements, and actively participate in regular training and audits to ensure continuous alignment with the standard

Job Specification

Education

Bachelor s Degree in finance, accounting or a related field

Professional Certifications

Certified Public Accountant (preferrable)

Knowledge

Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis

Familiarity with FinancialForce and Power BI is a plus
