Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Manager – Finance Excellence. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance the GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) framework for the finance function, aligning with regulatory and organizational objectives.
  • Establish and monitor adherence to finance policies, procedures, internal controls, and governance standards, ensuring accountability and transparency.
  • Identify, assess, and prioritize financial, operational, and compliance risks, maintaining updated risk registers and leading mitigation planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies by monitoring regulatory updates and coordinating audits and remediation.
  • Conduct regular internal control assessments, audits, and risk reviews to ensure control effectiveness and early detection of issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives using Lean or similar methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Implement and manage GRC technology tools for automation, monitoring, and reporting; design dashboards to track performance and risk indicators.
  • Use data analytics to identify root causes, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities within the finance function.
  • Collaborate with finance leadership, auditors, and key stakeholders to ensure integrated GRC practices and foster a culture of risk awareness.
  • Manage stakeholder communication, provide GRC guidance, and support cross-functional efforts to address governance, compliance, and service challenges

About You:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications preferred: CA, CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in GRC, risk management, internal controls, or audit within a finance or shared services environment
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes including R2R, O2C, and P2P
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks such as COSO and SOX
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Experience with GRC technology platforms
  • Proficient in using data analytics tools
  • Strong understanding of service delivery methodologies and best practices
