Financial Analyst

Abbott Structural Heart Division is hiring a Financial Analyst-MEA, Russia & CIS based in Dubai.

About Structural Heart Division

Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

As a Financial Analyst, you'll assist Finance Controller in preparation and monitoring of Plan, Budget & forecast, monthly analysis and reporting to regional and local management and follow-up on receivables with direct customers.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the Finance Controller in the preparation of Company Plans, budget & forecast.
• Analysis/interpretation of monthly results and liaison with functional groups to determine future exposures against current benchmark.
• Analyze and review monthly accounts and develop commentary in conjunction with Finance Manager as to variations to benchmarks for all Product Divisions. 
• Special projects/ ad-hoc reports as directed by the Finance Controller.
• Assist in the performance monitoring of the various product groups within the division.
• Monitor expenses (cost centers) and highlight potential exposures to avoid overspending.
• Prepare product profitability analysis.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (major in Finance). MBA / CMA Desirable.
• Minimum 4 years post qualification experience in accounting, budgeting and planning.
• Advanced level M.S. Excel / Access.
• Multi-national exposure and bi-lingual
