The Senior Accountant – Budgeting and Reporting is responsible for leading the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role ensures the accuracy and timeliness of internal and external financial reporting in compliance with applicable standards and organizational policies. The Senior Accountant collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and deliver insightful financial reports that drive efficiency and business growth.

Key responsibilities include preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, analyzing actual results against budgeted figures, preparing management reports, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and reporting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.

(Residence: PORT SAID RESIDENCE ONLY)Education & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Experience:10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Experience in a similar role within a mid-to-large size organization.Prior experience with Oracle.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Solid understanding of IFRS/GAAP and internal financial controls.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data visualization).Familiarity with financial reporting tools and business intelligence software is an advantage.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Strong organizational and time management skills.Language:Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus if the role is based in the MENA region.
