We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, managing daily cash transactions, and ensuring the timely processing of payroll and other financial activities.
Your Tasks:
Maintain accounting records in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
Verify and reconcile daily cash transactions and perform daily opening and closing of cash
Manage bank-related activities, including downloading bank balances, preparing and communicating previous day banking activity, reconciling all bank accounts, managing relationships with banks, and monitoring bank service fees
Coordinate and maintain a cash forecasting system to ensure adequate funds for program requirements
Process payroll and salaries to be credited two working days before the end of the month
Create, analyse, and review expenses, capital, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
Maintain a systematic and indexed filing system for easy retrieval of documents
Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
First experience in accounting and financial management
Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software and/or MS Office
Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
English language proficiency
