Role Objectives:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be overseeing financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making for Breadfast Pay business growth. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Oversee and manage Breadfast Pay’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards. 

  
  

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing strategic insights to support decision-making. 

  
  

• Handle tax compliance, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax, ensuring accurate and timely filing.

  
  

• Conduct financial reconciliations, including bank, supplier, and intercompany accounts. 

  
  

• Maintain and improve internal financial controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. 

  
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes. 

  
  

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. 

  
  

• Assist in external and internal audits, preparing necessary reports and documentation. 

  
  

• Monitor cash flow and financial health, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies. 

  
  

• Stay updated on changes in Egyptian tax laws, IFRS, and fintech industry regulations to ensure compliance. 

  
  

• Evaluate and implement financial systems and automation tools to enhance efficiency.

  
  

•  Provide financial insights and reports to senior management for business planning and strategic decisions.

  
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 

  
  

• 5+ years of experience in accounting. 

  
  

• Experience in the fintech industry is highly preferred. 

  
  

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, Egyptian tax laws, and financial regulations. 

  
  

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools. 

  
  

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. 

  
  

•  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
