Job Summary
You will be responsible for all activities related to Accounts Payable and Payroll. As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible to ensure all payments and payroll data is complete, accurate, and verified before each payroll run and in all accounting reconciliations.
Reporting Structure
This job reports to the Assistant Finance manager
Job Objectives
•  Accurate and timely recording and bookkeeping of financial transactions
•  Accurate and timely processing of payments
•  Issue employee payments, considering deductions and withholdings.
•  Prepare payroll schedules and records and contribute to various accounting tasks
Job Responsibilities
Accounting Activities

  • Verify and Process Accounts Payable (Payment Order and Purchase Order) and its related payment and bookkeeping activities.
  • Verify and Process payroll entries for all entities.
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
  • Verifying salaries, overtime earnings, other earnings, reimbursements, and vacation deductions shared by HR payroll team.
  • Issuing paychecks in a timely manner
  • Generating payroll payments in the bank for reporting manager’s review.
  • Collaborate with the HR payroll team for the timely rollout of payroll info needed for payout

General Accounts & Receivables 

  • Maintaining the billing system
  • Generating invoices and account statements
  • Maintaining accounts receivable files and records
  • Producing monthly financial and management reports
  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities, investigating and escalating/resolving any irregularities or inquiries
  • Preparing and filing Monthly Withholding taxes
  • Perform bank and related activities including BRS and bookkeeping
  • Perform Month-end activities and schedules (Accrued, Prepaid expenses, fixed assets schedule, provision, and expenses and cost allocation)
  • Perform GL and Intercompany related tasks and closing activities
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Perform bank guarantee processing
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks when required


Job Requirements
Educational Qualification

  • ​​​​​Graduation in Finance/Accounts or related fields is mandatory.
  • Candidate should be able to demonstrate commitment to continued learning in the field of accounts.

Previous Work Experience

  • Finance professional with 2-3 years' experience range. 
  • Software Services background is mandatory. 
  • Experience in handling payroll and vendor payments independently
  • Strong knowledge of local taxation and accounting practices

Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication and Analytical skills.
  • Understand expense accounts and cost centers
  • Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes.
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Should be proficient in accounting systems like Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, or any ERP accounting systems
