Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, tax compliance, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage journal entries, ledger postings, and account reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).
• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and documentation.
• Support and mentor junior accounting staff when needed.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).Advanced MS Excel skills.Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team
