الوصف الوظيفي

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts

receivable, general ledger, and taxes

• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements for Egypt and Niger offices.

• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

• Coordinate, complete annual audits and meet financial accounting objectives.

• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

• Assign projects and direct accountant team to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions taking place in Egypt and Niger.

• Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.

• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by the management.

• Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions.

• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong

employee relationships across all levels.

• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.

• Prepare Weekly reports on company bank balances and reconciled position statements, determining short-term

liability issuance timing.

• Prepare accounting entries for bank reconciliations and maintain incoming/outgoing product cost statements.

• Propose appropriate exchange rates for recording foreign currency transactions.

• Analyze company cash flows and submit periodic reports to the CFO.

المهارات

  • Bachelor of accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
  • Management skills, organized, stable, adaptable.
  • French speaker (very Good) is a must.
  • Audit background is preferred.
  • Worked as chief accountant for min 2 years in trading or manufacturing sectors.
  • Interested in travelling to West Africa around one month or less per year.
  • Expertise in handling financial activities by implementing the latest management and cost reduction trends.
  • Proven command of negotiation skills to build long-lasting partnerships with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Reporting Skills
  • Ability to handle relevant software like Microsoft Suite for efficient preparation of reports and statements.
