Job Description

The Finance Administrator / Junior Accountant will assist the haus & haus Group Finance Team. This dual-role position supports both administrative processes and financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and an efficient financial workflow. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and proactive and will ideally have Real Estate experience.Accountabilities:Finance AdministratorLiaise with internal teams regarding receipt of funds and security deposits.Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries.Assist in drafting financial correspondence and maintaining spreadsheets and databases.Provide other administrative support to the Finance team as required.Junior AccountantAssist with accounts receivable and payable processing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and cash accounts.Assist in accounting for financial transactions in the accounting software (Tally and Xero).Support with VAT filing and compliance as per FTA regulations.Maintain financial documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.Provide other finance support to the Finance team as required.Policies and ProceduresSpeak with clients and/or coworkers using clear and professional language.Maintain confidentiality of company materials and information.Protect the privacy and security of clients and/or coworkers.Follow company and department policies and procedures.Person Specification1-2 years of relevant finance administration or accounting experience.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proficiency in MS Excel.Proficiency in financial software (Xero, Tally or similar) would be advantageous.High attention to detail and analytical thinking.Strong organisational skills.Ethical, trustworthy, and discreet with sensitive information.Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Strong communication skills in English.
