Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance department. The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of Lebanese accounting principles, tax regulations, and NSSF. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in daily bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software

Prepare, process, and record invoices, payments, and receipts

Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts

Support monthly and year-end closings

Assist in preparing VAT, payroll tax, and NSSF declarations

Maintain proper filing of financial records and documents

Support internal and external audits

Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

0 to 2 years of accounting experience

Good knowledge of Lebanese accounting standards, NSSF, and VAT regulations

Familiarity with accounting software

Strong attention to detail and numerical skills

Proficiency in MS Excel

Good communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic English and Arabic required; French is a plus

Preferred Skills:

Internship or experience in a Lebanese company

Willingness to learn and grow within the finance team

Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
