Job Title: General Accountant

Location: Dubai

Job Type: Full-Time

Industry: Audit and Accounting Firm

Salary : AED 4500 to AED 6000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports and statements in compliance with accounting standards
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings
• Support internal and external audits
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2-3 years of experience in general accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo) and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• CPA license is a plus, but not required
