We are looking for a native Arabic speaker, highly experienced and qualified Senior Accountant for our Franchise office in Riyadh, KSA. This role, in close coordination with the main headquarters in Dubai, will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the distribution/trading sector and exceptional management abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, including reconciliation and adjustments.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports and analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare bank reconciliation report on a weekly, monthly basis or a need arises.
- Prepare customer receivable ageing
- Prepare suppliers' payment with complete ageing.
- Suppliers' reconciliation
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor management.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal and Dubai headquarter teams as well as external auditors to support audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure tax compliance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure that the company's management principles, policies and programs are consistently practiced.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance and relevant field. CA, CPA, INTER CA or MASTERS with good experience and knowledge is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior or Supervisory role within the trading or distribution industry in KSA.
- Proficiency in SAP B1 software is essential.
- Native Arabic speaker with strong proficiency in English language (spoken & written).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
