Job Title: Group Finance Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (with potential for regional travel)
Reporting To: Group General Manager
Monthly Salary: AED 18,000

2. Role Purpose
The Group Finance Manager will play a strategic leadership role, overseeing the end-to-end
financial operations of the organization. This includes ensuring financial integrity, sustainability,
and performance across all business units. The role requires a strong command of financial
planning, control, and reporting—providing actionable insights and strategic guidance to senior
management during a period of accelerated regional and international growth.
3. Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
• Drive rolling forecasts and scenario planning to enhance financial agility.
• Build financial models for investment evaluation and business expansion.
• Provide performance analysis and strategic insights to leadership.
• Act as a finance business partner to support decision-making across operations.
B. Financial Reporting & Control
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial reports in line with IFRS.
• Ensure data integrity, accurate closing cycles, and strong financial governance.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and compliance systems.
• Coordinate and lead external audit processes.
C. Treasury & Cash Management
• Manage group cash flow, optimize working capital, and maintain liquidity.
• Supervise banking relationships and treasury operations.
• Implement foreign exchange strategies aligned with global operations.
D. Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Lead tax planning to optimize the group’s tax position.
• Monitor regulatory and IFRS changes to maintain compliance.
E. Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting high performance and accountability.
• Manage team structure and resource allocation for efficiency.
F. System & Process Optimization
• Drive automation and efficiency within the finance function.
• Oversee ERP implementation and financial tool optimization.
4. Candidate Profile & Qualifications
A. Education
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Mandatory: Recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
• MBA or Master’s in Finance is an advantage.
B. Experience
• 8–10 years of experience in finance, with 3–5 years in a senior/group-level role.
• Background in multi-entity, regional operations, especially in FMCG, Retail, or F&B.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial control, and reporting.
• Experience with international tax, regulatory compliance, and expansion projects.
C. Technical Skills
• Expertise in IFRS and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Knowledge of treasury and risk management best practices.
D. Soft Skills
• Strong leadership, team development, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and confident communicator.
• Highly ethical, adaptable, and results-driven.
