Responsibilities:
- Monitor project costs, revenues, and cash flow.
- Prepare and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports (e.g., cost-to-complete, variance analysis).
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing to clients and collection of payments.
- Prepare and process pay estimates for contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Analyze project expenses and provide commentary on variances.
- Assist project managers in developing and updating cost-to-complete forecasts.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper lien waivers, insurance certificates, and other compliance documentation from subcontractors.
- Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial objectives and reporting.
- Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to project teams.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss financial performance and issues.
- Utilize project management and accounting software effectively (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Primavera).
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes.
المهارات
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with construction-specific accounting practices and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Expertise in handling financial activities by implementing the latest management and cost reduction trends.
- Ability to interact with the company's management and other departments in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed and accurate reports within the given timeframe as per requirements.
- Experience with project management software used in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of local regulations and accounting practices in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
