We are looking for an Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, a solid understanding of Lebanese payroll and tax regulations, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. This role is suited for someone with 3–5 years of experience in a similar position, looking to grow within a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly closings.
• Process invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements.
• Manage fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
• Prepare and submit VAT reports in compliance with local tax regulations.
• Handle NSSF reports and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with management and auditors during financial reviews and audits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations.
• Experience preparing and submitting VAT and NSSF reports.
• Strong knowledge of Lebanese payroll regulations, including income tax, NSSF, and labor law compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP & accounting software .
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas).
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
