About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Director of Corporate Finance to join our teamin Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:  

  • Lead the organization’s financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deliver strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership through robust reporting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling to support key decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate financial performance across business units and initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, revenue growth, and enhanced profitability.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to assess the impact of business scenarios and market trends, supporting strategic planning and risk management.
  • Oversee budget management activities, including setting targets, monitoring variances, and implementing cost-control measures to maintain financial sustainability.
  • Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance to support the organization’s financial goals.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with a strong academic foundation in financial principles and strategic planning.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, demonstrating progressive leadership in financial planning, analysis, and corporate finance functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex financial models, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Detail-oriented and creative, with the ability to balance analytical rigor with innovative thinking in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
