Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage and close month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial periods accurately and on time.
• Review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for correctness and consistency.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and review their work for compliance and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the annual budgeting process and monitor actuals vs. budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams (AP, AR, etc.) to ensure accurate transaction flow.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with IFRS, internal policies, and audit standards.
• Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve findings.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• IFRS certification (preferable)
• Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience preferably in the industrial sector, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong command of ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP or Oracle.
• High-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across functions and seniority levels.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle)
