Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage and close month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial periods accurately and on time.
• Review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) for correctness and consistency.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and review their work for compliance and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the annual budgeting process and monitor actuals vs. budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams (AP, AR, etc.) to ensure accurate transaction flow.
• Ensure all financial operations comply with IFRS, internal policies, and audit standards.
• Participate in automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and resolve findings.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.IFRS certification (preferable)Minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience preferably in the industrial sector, including at least 2 years in a senior role.Strong command of ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP or Oracle.High-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling.Solid understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.Ability to communicate effectively across functions and seniority levels.Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle)IFRS knowledge and applicationBudgeting and variance analysisAdvanced Excel and financial modelingJournal entry and closing cycle managementFinancial statement preparation and reviewReconciliation and audit support.
