The Opportunity

Join the Egyptian subsidiary of an American company headquartered in California, USA ("US Parent"). We provide offshoring audit support services to American accounting firms affiliated with our US Parent. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditors and Audit Managers to join our team in Egypt. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing a broad range of audit support services to our clients, with a strong emphasis on client service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing support to audit engagements, including planning, executing, and finalizing audits.
• Performing detailed audit procedures and assessing internal controls in compliance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Preparing and presenting audit findings and recommendations to clients.
• Coordinating with US-based teams to ensure alignment with audit objectives and timelines.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within audit engagements.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (English section or graduates of international universities in Egypt).

Designations:

• CPA or ACCA, or meaningful progress towards attaining one.

Technical Skills:

• Solid understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Advanced Excel skills, including:
  • Data analysis (pivot tables, data tables, pivot charts, power query).
  • Formulas and functions (array formulas, lookups, logical and text functions).
  • Automation and macros (VBA, Macros).
  • Data visualization and financial modeling.
• Experience with auditing and accounting software.

Language Skills:

• Proficient in English (both conversational and written).

Experience:

• Three to eight years of progressive auditing experience in a multinational accounting firm.
• Experience working with international clients is a plus.
