About the Position
To advise and assist in the development and implementation of proper Accounting & Reporting Procedures relating to the Group companies and ensure full implementation.
Key Accountabilities
- Audit Planning & Implementation: Prepare and manage "risk-based" annual audit plans in coordination with the Manager, Internal Audit Department.
- Information Integrity Review: Assess the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information and the methods used for identification, measurement, classification, and reporting.
- Compliance & Controls Evaluation: Review systems established for compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations that could impact operations and reporting.
- EDP & IT Audit: Examine and evaluate EDP controls and audit risks by reviewing application systems, conducting data audits, and carrying out computer interrogation tests.
- Asset Safeguarding: Review the means of safeguarding company assets (tangible and intangible) and verify their existence.
- Reporting & Recommendations: Present audit findings and recommendations to department heads and submit final reports for review.
- Team Supervision & Development: Supervise and evaluate the performance of Senior Internal Auditors and Internal Auditors.
- Management Consulting: Execute management/business consulting services based on agreed-upon procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Aptitude
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA) is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within an International Audit Firm or the Internal Audit department of a reputable organization, with exposure to best practices in risk management, control, and governance.
- 3-5 years of IT Audit or IT Security experience.
- Excellent ability to manage audit teams, strong knowledge of computers, and exceptional project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
