Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support budgeting and financial planning processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and providing key insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with auditors and support audit processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other financial obligations.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Stay updated with financial regulations and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:
• CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification (optional but preferred).
• Experience in a specific industry (e.g., construction, healthcare, tech).
