We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team at a leading contracting firm in Ashrafieh.

The ideal candidate will assist with financial reporting, account reconciliation, and other accounting tasks related to the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records for the contracting firm.

-Monitor and reconcile accounts payable/receivable.

-Process payments and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

-Ensure compliance with Lebanese accounting standards and tax regulations.

-Assist with VAT filings and other statutory reporting requirements.

-Help manage cash flow and ensure proper allocation of expenses across multiple construction projects.

Maintain and update records for fixed assets

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the contracting or construction industry.

-Familiarity with Lebanese accounting standards ( VAT, tax regulations,NSSF).

-Basic understanding of construction project accounting and job costing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus.

-Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English
