Job Description

  • Record daily journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including follow-up on client collections.
  • Review and process real estate contracts (sales, rent, lease) for proper financial documentation.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring.
  • Issue and track invoices and receipts based on installment schedules.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor and report on project-related expenditures and operational costs.
  • Support tax filings and compliance with VAT and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain organized documentation and accounting records.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as sales, legal, and operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (real estate industry preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Odoo, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a real estate development or property management company.
  • Knowledge of installment-based accounting and contract revenue recognition.
