We are Maatouk Factories, a leading company in FMCG located in Bchamoun Industrial Area and we are looking for an experienced Senior accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.

Duties & Responsibilities 

- Manage daily cash sales (cash, invoices, discount) while adhering to specific customer conditions.

- Post daily expense invoices and associated payment vouchers.

- Handle assets invoices and ensure they align with auditors’ requirements.

- Reconcile supplier and local customers’ statements and resolve the discrepancies.

- Reconcile banks statements.

- Prepare vouchers related to various entries (CNSS payments, Vat and tax on salaries quarterly payments, end of month payroll entries, sales orders, accruals, insurance) and report to the Chief Accountant.

- Prepare the daily collection report.

• - Supervise daily stock related to each salesman ensuring it matches with the system records in coordination with the Junior accountant and report findings to the Chief Accountant.

Requirements

• Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years as Senior Accountant

• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures

• Awareness of business trends

• Familiarity with financial accounting statements

• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages

• Advanced MS Excel skills, SAP is a plus

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
