A Day in the LifeJoin Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, as an Accounting Clerk and help transform healthcare and improve lives. This Cairo-based role offers a dynamic working environment that fosters teamwork, innovation, and professional growth. Reporting to the Africa Financial Controller, you will support key financial operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our finance team. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Support day-to-day accounting operations,
• Ensure the accuracy and timely processing of invoices, payments, and account reconciliations
• Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and local regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes
• Perform data entry, maintain financial databases, and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Contribute to process improvements and identify opportunities for operational efficiency
• Provide support during internal and external audits as needed

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role, preferably in a multinational organization
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., creating pivot tables and using formulas)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Knowledge of local accounting standards and regulations
