Job Description

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Purpose:

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring the company’s financial operations are accurate and up to date. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of one year of experience in accounting, who are eager to grow in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy in the general ledger

  
  

• Prepare journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations

  
  

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly closings

  
  

• Support in managing accounts payable and receivable

  
  

• Reconcile statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented

  
  

• Maintain accurate records of all financial documents

  
  

• Assist in VAT and other tax filings as per Lebanese regulations

  
  

• Provide administrative support to the finance department when needed

  
  

• Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information

  
  

• Report to the Senior Accountant and Finance Manager

  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  
  

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience (internship or full-time)

  
  

• Knowledge of Lebanese accounting and tax regulations is a plus

  
  

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); knowledge of accounting software is an advantage

  
  

• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

  
  

• Good organizational and time-management skills

  
  

• Strong ethics and confidentiality

  
  

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
