We seek a meticulous and experienced General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Prepare journal entries to record all financial transactions accurately in the general ledger
• system.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure general ledger accounts are properly coded and
• mapped.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts (cash, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets etc.)
• monthly. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Managing consolidated monthly financial statements including income statement, balance
• sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual Closings.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls. Implement
• improvements where needed.
• Prepare reports for statutory filings and tax purposes.
• Liaise with external auditors to provide required information for the annual audit process.
• Audit financial transactions and documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Superior communication skills in Arabic and English both written & spoken.
• Knowledge of Egypt VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
• Expertise in preparing financial statements and reports using ERP software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability and team player attitude.
• Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
